WILSON, N.C. — March 2, 2018 — Expect an evening of delightful humor with acclaimed author Drew Perry at the upcoming Barton College Friends of Hackney Library Spring Dinner and Lecture scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, 2018. The event will be held in Hardy Alumni Hall on the campus of Barton College. A book signing and wine reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. with the program immediately following dinner. Barton Welcomes Barbara Presnell for the Victor R. Small Writers Series Lecture on March 21

WILSON, N.C. — March 14, 2018 — Barton College is pleased to welcome poet Barbara Presnell for the upcoming Victor R. Small Writers Series Lecture on Wednesday, March 21. The lecture will be held at 7 p.m. in The Sam and Marjorie Ragan Writing Center on campus. This event is free of charge, and the community is invited to attend. Presnell is an essayist and poet who lives in Lexington, N.C.
