Barton College’s Phi Beta Lambda Recognized At “Gateway to Greatness” Conference

WILSON, N.C. — Barton College’s Phi Beta Lambda students secured their share of awards at the 2012 “Gateway to Greatness” Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference recently held in San Antonio, Texas. Eight Barton students joined over 1,800 college business students and advisers from around the world to attend the national conference and participate in the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) Institute for Leaders. George Black, a senior from Winterville, represented North Carolina as its Who’s Who nominee. Barton Receives $375,000 Golden LEAF Foundation Grant for Hearne-Barton Partnership School Project

WILSON, N.C. — Creativity thrives when academic partners are passionate about bringing positive change to the classroom and funding is made available to support these innovative educational endeavors. Barton Announces President’s and Dean’s Lists for Accelerated Professional Programs

WILSON, N.C. — Barton College named eight Accelerated Professional Programs students to the President’s List and 56 Accelerated Professional Programs students to the Dean’s List for the 2011-2012 academic year. President’s List students compiled a perfect 4.0 grade point average from 18 semester hours of work during the course of three trimesters; Dean’s List students achieved a grade point average of 3.30 from 18 semester hours of work during the course of three trimesters.
