COMPONENTS OF THE FINAL GRADE

Reading and Writing Assignments -- 50 points

Learners will read textbook chapters, read and critique (approximately 200 words) Internet resources, and complete end of chapter assignments. To access the Internet articles for critique, the Assignment page MUST be open in your web browser. These critiques and assignments will be submitted to the instructor via Blackboard Digital DropBox or email. Be sure to keep a copy for future reference.

Please be aware of stated due dates.  It is certainly acceptable to submit assignments prior to due date.

Class Participation in Discussions -- 20 points

Participation will be electronic. Learners will post observations to the Blackboard Discussion Board and comment on classmates' postings.  In addition, as in a F2F class, the instructor may pose questions for discussions via the Discussion Board.

A posting should be approximately 200 words; a comment should be approximately 100 words.
