COMPONENTS OF THE FINAL GRADE
Learners will read
textbook chapters, read and critique (approximately 200 words) Internet
resources, and complete end of chapter assignments. To access the Internet
articles for critique, the Assignment page MUST be open in your web browser.
These critiques and assignments will be submitted to the instructor via
Blackboard Digital DropBox or email. Be sure to keep a copy for future
reference.
Please
be aware of stated due dates. It is
certainly acceptable to submit assignments prior to due date.
Class
Participation in Discussions -- 20 points
Participation will
be electronic. Learners will post observations to the Blackboard Discussion
Board and comment on classmates' postings.
In addition, as in a F2F class, the instructor may pose questions for
discussions via the Discussion Board.
A
posting should be approximately 200 words; a comment should be approximately
100 words.

Design a web page
for yourself, your department, business, organization, church, etc. Include
downloaded graphics with at least five internal links and five external links.
The content (verbiage and graphics) should be appropriate for all audiences. Use html, Word, or an
authoring software. MySpace and Facebook are not acceptable templates. Submit on CD to instructor (if prepared in
html or Word) or provide URL (if prepared using an authoring software).
Your web page
is due the Monday before the end of the term.
Grades are based on a 7-point scale.
