As a member of the NCAA – Division II and the Conference Carolinas, Barton College is recognized as one of the best student-athlete programs in our 12-team conference. Barton’s Bulldogs earned national recognition last season as the 2007 NCAA Division II National Men’s Basketball Champion, and we were the first school in the conference to win the coveted Joby Hawn Cup for three consecutive years: 2002-03, 2003-04, and 2004-05.
