The Department of History and Social Sciences offers learning opportunities for a thorough understanding of American, Western, and World History. Students will study the connections between human activity and natural systems through geography courses and examine systems of government in political science. Criminal justice and criminology courses will expose students to the criminal justice system, by integrating policy and professional practice with theory and research, and by combining scientific study with practical applications.
