Lifetime Giving Societies

Barton College is enormously indebted to those individuals, foundations, and corporations who have and continue to demonstrate extraordinary commitment to the College through their philanthropic support. In 2006, the Torchbearer Society was created to recognize those alumni and friends who are the foundation of our institution. In 2009, the Board of Trustees unveiled new Lifetime Giving societies (Founders’ Society and Golden Knot Society) to recognize those donors who have given more than $500,000 during their relationship with Barton College. Members of these esteemed societies exemplify abiding belief and trust in the mission of the institution.
