When is the best time to make a gift?

Our fiscal year begins July 1 and ends June 30. The best time to make a commitment is early in the year, when it is needed most.

How much should I pledge?

You should pledge whatever amount is comfortable for you. Our goal is to receive gifts from everyone who has benefited directly or indirectly from their experience at Atlantic Christian College or Barton College. With this level of support, we will readily satisfy our immediate annual needs and make our future more secure.

Do I have to pay my pledge all at once?

No. You can pay your pledge in full or pay in installments throughout the year. Let the Office of Annual Giving know which is most convenient for you. It is extremely important, however, that you fulfill your pledge within the fiscal year that it was made.

Can I pay a pledge with a credit card?

Yes. If you would like to make a contribution with Visa or MasterCard, simply call the Office of Annual Giving.

How do I know if my employer will match my gift?

To find out if your employer has such a gift-matching policy, call your personnel office. You can also call the Office of Annual Giving for a list of companies that are currently matching gifts to Barton.
