Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions
DEPARTMENT: Office of Admissions
DESCRIPTION:
• Recruiting 90 students per year
• Overseeing the recruitment of part-time adult students
• Processing applications for admission
• Collecting official documents and transcripts
• Supervising an additional staff member
• Serving on multiple committees including New Student Programs and the Orientation Committee
REQUIREMENTS:
• A bachelor’s degree with two to five years of experience in admissions recruitment and/or sales experience
• Good communication skills (written and oral)
• Knowledge of the financial aid process important
• Some night and weekend work; possibility of light travel

Dean of Nursing
DEPARTMENT: School of Nursing
DESCRIPTION:
Barton College is accepting applications for a Dean of Nursing for a baccalaureate nursing program fully accredited by the National League for Nursing.
DUTIES:
• Overseeing the curriculum
• Providing leadership for the faculty and students
• Maintaining communication with NLNAC and the North Carolina Board of Nursing
• Coordinating clinical sites
REQUIREMENTS:
• A doctorate in nursing
• Excellent communication skills
• A proven ability to work well with a variety of people in a participatory management style
