Dr. Bill Wallace employs guided inquiry teaching methods in general chemistry, organic chemistry, organic and biochemistry, and other courses. He is a member and serves as a facilitator for the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) Project. He is a member of the Green Chemistry Network, and his research interests employ microwave heating to carry out organic reactions.
Dr. Wallace leads the Organic Chemistry and Chemistry I courses at Barton College. He and his wife enjoy reading, traveling, and hiking. They especially enjoy hiking in the national parks of the western United States.
