Dr. John Dogbe joined the faculty at Barton College in the fall of 2007 from Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University) where he taught general and physical chemistry. Prior to this, he was at the University of Nevada, Reno, as a graduate research assistant investigating reactions on silicon surfaces that are of interest to the electronics industry. Dogbe maintains active research collaboration with the chemistry department at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he visits in the summer for research activities.
He teaches second-semester general chemistry, analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, and physical chemistry courses. In addition to teaching, Dogbe supervises undergraduate student research projects in physical and analytical chemistry.
