Class Options

Barton's Accelerated Professional Programs (APP) provide flexibilty not available with a traditional class schedule. Consulting with your academic advisor, you can build a class schedule that works with your busy lifestyle. Take classes in the evening, on the weekend, over the Internet, or as a combination of the three. Contact your academic advisor to discuss your options.

All courses necessary for earning degrees in the majors offered in the Accelerated Professional Programs are offered on a rotation. Each student should meet with an academic advisor to determine necessary course work and succession of classes. The initial evaluation of transfer credit is completed by the registrar's office and noted on a student's work sheet. The student and the advisor will use this work sheet, the general catalog of enrollment, and the rotation schedule to develop an individualized plan of work. This will eliminate missing prerequisites and courses that may not be offered frequently.

Evenings at Barton

Classes offered in an evening format are held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Weekends at Barton

Weekends at Barton provide students with an opportunity to take all or a portion of their courses on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
