Assistant Professor of Marketing

The Barton College School of Business invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track assistant professor position in marketing beginning fall 2013. Responsibilities include 24 credits (per year) of teaching in the traditional and accelerated professional programs, academic advising, scholarship, and service on school and college committees. Teaching will focus on courses such as: Principles of Marketing, Retailing/Sales, Promotions Management, Managerial Communications, Consumer Behavior, and Marketing Research.
Qualifications include an ability to develop contemporary curricula in the marketing discipline, evidence of effective teaching, a strong interest in mentoring undergraduate students, and a well thought-out research agenda. The applicant must possess a Ph.D. (or be ABD) from an accredited university.
