Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice and Criminology

Barton College seeks candidates for a tenure track Assistant Professor prepared to teach 24 credits at all levels of Criminal Justice and Criminology, advise students, and engage in scholarship and service. A generalist is required; but special interests in domestic and international security, security management, and the courts would be helpful.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Criminal Justice and/or Criminology strongly preferred. Professional experience in one or more criminal justice fields is expected. Evidence of successful teaching is helpful.
Start Date
Position available August 2013.
